Since we created Gravestone Artwear® in 1997 we have worked with numerous historic and preservation associations, both by lecturing/participating in preservation projects and creating exclusive designs and products to aid them in fundraising. Some of our commissions have included Trinity Church in lower Manhattan, the Association for Gravestone Studies and historic attractions such as Plimouth Plantation, and Old Sturbridge Village. For we feel it is important to give back to what had started as an enjoyable hobby. From there it blossomed into the 2 businesses that we so love and enjoy today.
To see the entire collection of Gravestone Artwear® as well as unique gift items which complement our products, we invite you to visit our studio. And we’ll be delighted to give you information on touring some of our favorite local graveyards where some of the finest examples of New England stone carving exist. Please stop by and say hello and we will be delighted to answer any questions you might have about this enjoyable and educational form of art and historical preservation. Always remember; To ASK first before you proceed to do any rubbings, for without the kindness of the folks in charge of keeping this history protected......we will not be able to create images for future generations.......
Thank you Paulette and Cassandra
